We empower organisations across Oxfordshire to make energy efficiency improvements to their buildings and premises

HOW WE DO IT

A process that is as simple as possible for you

We know that often organisations don’t have the money, know-how, and the time to overhaul the existing energy set-up of their buildings. And that’s where we come in. Our team handles the whole project from start to finish, assessing, planning, and actioning a total energy transformation for any premises.

All this means that you can get on with running your business, while we take care of optimising your energy usage to reduce your carbon emissions and your energy bills.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

A free, no obligation energy diagnosis report for your premises

Using our desktop survey we’ll build an initial report of your current energy ‘footprint’ – and the potential energy, cost, and carbon savings you could make by working with us. It’s completely free, and there’s no commitment to continue further at this stage.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Bespoke recommendations from our expert team

If you want to go further, the Energy Solutions Oxfordshire team will then come and audit your buildings to find out what your current energy use and performance looks like. We report back with our bespoke recommendations for improved energy efficiency, and then you can decide which elements you’d like to action. We’ll then find the right contractor for the job, and manage the whole process for you.

Smart ways to make assured savings on your energy bills

If upfront costs are an issue, we’ll help you access pre-approved, low-interest loans and finance opportunities to get the right funding in place, just when you need it – and we’ll assess the savings to make sure that the money you save by reducing your energy bills should help to cover any loan payments.

Our partners

Energy Solutions Oxfordshire is a partnership between the Low Carbon Hub and Oxford Brookes University’s Environmental Information Exchange. Since 2017 we’ve combined our expertise to support local businesses with energy efficiency through OxFutures, generating 136 energy audits and over 800 energy recommendations (and supported the delivery of over 300 of these recommendations). So you can be sure you’re in safe hands.

The Low Carbon Hub is enterprise out to prove we can meet our energy needs in a way that’s good for people and good for the planet. They develop community-owned renewable energy projects in Oxfordshire, and also work across several energy reduction programmes, including OxFutures. They are working closely with EnergyPro to develop the business model within Oxfordshire, as the first ‘francisee’ of the toolkit.
Oxford Brookes University’s Environmental Information Exchange (EiE) is a not-for-profit organisation based at Oxford Brookes University providing UK organisations with support to reduce their energy, water, and waste. They are also supporting the development of the service in Oxfordshire and will be providing energy auditing, feasibility, and project management. They also work with Low Carbon Hub on OxFutures.
EnergyPro are a consultancy helping to make business sense of the energy transition. They are leading on the wider project which Energy Solutions Oxfordshire is part of, developing a toolkit or operating system to enable community organisations across the UK to set up Energy Service Companies (ESCOs). This would create a national network of ‘one-stop-shops’ across the UK, supporting businesses to take up energy efficiency improvements.

To drastically reduce our carbon emissions, we must quickly address the high energy usage of our buildings – increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy demand.
